It’s the first toy we’ve ever seen in modern-day life that most resembles Marty McFly’s skateboard from “Back to the Future” or something we would have watched on the “Jetsons” and dreamed about owning someday. While the name hoverboard gives the perception of flying, riders stand on a board with two wheels, balance on them and shift their weight slightly to move forward, reverse or to spin around in circles....

Dylan Bennett, 22, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of his parents, Barry Bennett and Carol Bennett. A four-day manhunt ended Saturday in Cancun, Mexico, after his phone and credit card purchases were tracked. Barry was 63 and his wife was 66. According to the report, Dylan had contacted Todd County (Minnesota) Sheriff Steve Och and disclosed his intention to turn himself in to the FBI before Mexican law enforcement captured him first....

The killings took place June 15 at a home in Yakutsk in far eastern Russia. Nyurbinsky district head Alexei Innokentiev has so far refused to comment on the deaths of his wife, 51, and daughter, 31. The mother was still alive when the two were found with multiple stab wounds. She was taken to hospital but succumbed to her injuries. Investigators seized objects from the property as evidence, and the suspect, Aisen Innokentiev, was arrested at the scene....

As seen in the screenshot of Sonic Mania’s Steam page below, European fans who watch the initial trailer that plays automatically on the site to completion will be shown the August 15, 2017 date. Those in the United States, however, are shown a trailer with the exact same contents, only the end of it still displays a summer 2017 launch window instead of a more specific time frame. Of course, considering the fact that Sega has yet to officially reveal precisely when Sonic Mania will be released to the public, there’s no telling if the August release date listed on the game’s European Steam page is accurate....

The floating zone will look pretty familiar to anyone who played through Sonic 3 or Sonic and Knuckles, but it appears like there are a few new additions this time around. The original Sonic the Hedgehog movie was well received by many cinema-goers and has since become North America’s highest-grossing video game film adaptation of all-time. Featuring the menacing Dr. Robotnik, played by Jim Carrey, the film features Sonic, voiced by Ben Schwartz, blazing around his local neighborhood of Green Hills trying to defeat the Eggman. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has therefore been highly anticipated by many, with promotional materials for the new movie featuring TV spots and unique retro Sonic box art inspired posters, which have given fans a glimpse of what’s to come....

The rumors are that this new offering from Sony which was earlier known as Sony HuaShan would be powered by Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T and is clocked at 1....

In a throwback to Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, War Thunder’s tweet features a gif displaying three bold messages. “First Crossplay Title, First Free-to-Play Title,” “Still No Console Crossplay,” “How Come, Sony?” read the messages. The first is claiming War Thunder’s credentials as a launch free-to-play game on the PlayStation 4 (alongside Warframe and DC Online) and the first to implement PC/PS4 cross-platform play. The second message implies that War Thunder’s PS4/Xbox One cross-play is being held up by Sony....

With the latest comments of John Koller, PlayStation’s VP of hardware marketing, believing the PS3’s run of relevance to be any shorter seems all but impossible. It was only a year ago when Sony CEO Kaz Hirai, then the President of Sony Computer Entertainment, committed the PlayStation 3 to a 10-year life cycle - the system was entering into a late-life “second renaissance,” he said at the time. Speaking in an interview with Gamespot this week, Koller reaffirmed Sony and Hirai’s objective to support the PS3 well into the future, saying that the system has quite the auspicious lineup in place for the next 2-3 years:...

Regardless of the disappointing news about headset support, there is a silver lining: the PS4 will offer party chat to all users, not just PlayStation Plus subscribers. And today we have learned just how many gamers can participate in a party chat at once.
