After a rough first look at the game, overall impressions of Sonic Frontiers after Gamescom have been more on the positive side. Many fans were able to try out an early build of the game and see how the combat, open world, and cyberspace stages all tied together. The new trailer features big new reveals like Jim Carrey’s new look as Dr. Robotnik and the first official shot of Knuckles, complete with those delightfully dulcet tones of Idris Elba. Miles “Tails” Prower also gets a lot of attention here, ironically having even more screen time in a single trailer than he did in the end credits scene of Sonic the Hedgehog. But perhaps the most important takeaway here is Carrey’s absolutely stunning wardrobe change....
