So, it is no surprise that fans are eager to purchase the recently released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PS5 bundle. For one fan who ordered the bundle and was expecting what they bought, they instead received an entirely different PS5 product.

One player purchased the PS5 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 bundle directly through Sony after being available for pre-order, but they ended up getting something unexpected in its place. Twitter user Rasheeda Smith shared a photo that showcases the God of War: Ragnarok PS5 bundle, which must have been accidentally sent to them after having ordered the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 bundle. Wario64 quote tweeted the post by adding that PS Direct made a huge mistake, further solidifying this accidental switch-up. Despite viewers considering this a win, the bundle only includes a digital version of the game, which means the receiver could be code locked from playing the game before its launch.
Twitter user Rasheeda Smith expressed that the purchased Call of Duty bundle was supposed to be for a friend. They further stated that they are shipping the bundle now, although it is not clear whether Smith is shipping it back to Sony, or if they are shipping the God of War: Ragnarok bundle to their friend, which is still an exciting gift since the upcoming game is so highly anticipated. Either way, Sony Santa Monica addressed God of War leaks from retailers who are breaking the release date, so hopefully, this incident does not add to possible spoilers leaking before the game’s launch.
For fans that are looking for a bundle such as this one, then they are in luck, as there are many options for God of War: Ragnarok special editions that will become available. With just a few more days to go, players will soon have their hands on both Modern Warfare 2 and Ragnarok.
