More PS5 Consoles Available in 2020
Sony has taken to Twitter today to thank the 2.5 million people who bought a launch day PS5.
However, in the same tweet, the PlayStation 5 creator states that more consoles will be available before the end of 2020.
Demand for the PS5 has been incredibly high. So much so, that many customers were left disappointed on Launch Day when websites everywhere buckled under the load.
This meant a lot of people didn’t get a PS5, leaving them wondering when the next wave of PlayStation 5 consoles will hit the stores.
Sony Tells Customers to Stay in Touch With Local Retailers
If you want to get hold of the console, then Sony has suggested that your local retailer is going to be your best option.
Whether this means the console will be available online or not remains to be seen. It does give fans of PlayStation a glimmer of hope that they may be able to get their hands on the coveted console.
Given the issues that some PS5 pre-order customers have been experiencing, it does beg the question whether they too will receive their consoles in the next wave.
When Will PS5 Console Supplies Start Meeting Demand?
It is impossible to say, at this point, when Sony will see demand being met. It clearly isn’t meeting demand at the moment.
If you are looking to buy a PS5, then now may well be your chance. Just keep your eye on your local retailer, as per Sony’s instructions.
